Joe, a former high school physics and mathematics teacher, is a Principal Associate/Scientist at Abt Associates, Inc. in Cambridge, MA. Prior to joining Abt, Joe was director of the BSCS Center for Research and Evaluation. Joe earned a Ph. D. in physics education in 2001 from Penn State University.
